The Dutch Consulate was a modern office space designed for the consolidation of several Dutch government departments, including the consular, economic, and cultural departments to the Post Montgomery Building in downtown San Francisco. This new office now serves as the main location for the Dutch government’s activities in the Western United States. The Consulate’s goal to achieve LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), resulted in sustainability features such as lighting systems and material selections that maximize resources.
